The new Ferré eyewear collection is dominated by flashes. The
idealized flashes of exclusivity, luxury and glamour. Translated
into reality by the dominant, irresistible and fascinating
presence of Swarovski crystals that make every model shine and
that recur in a thousand "variations on the theme" in both the
prescription and sunglass collections: tiny and densely-packed
or large and well-spaced; precisely aligned along the sides and
front; single, round, inset and prominent like big eyes;
smaller, grouped into "constellations" and positioned at the
hinges. |

Gianfranco Ferré Eyewear Collection This sparkling play of contrast with the usual rigor of forms
and lines: squared but harmonious in the women's prescription
models and absolutely essential, if not minimal, in the men's
models.
The women's acetate models accompany timeless
black with combinations of blue & gold, blue & ivory, and beige
& white.
The men's models feature Havana softened by gray and
brown, obviously without overlooking black, where the metal logo
stands out resembling a superimposed flowing-script. The total
black, along with silver, gold and midnight blue, is also
combined with the absolute lightness of the metal models.

As one would expect, the sunglass models have more generous
proportions and come in aviator and wrap-around shapes with
emphasized dimensions that however are always clean,
well-calibrated and generous. Also these models shine with
crystals and are identified by a logo emphasized by strings of
studs or, alternatively, lightened by round holes that, often,
have metal profiles and "host" the unmistakable monogram. |
